1. Legend
In Legend (1985), Tom Cruise has to fight against The Lord of Darkness who wants to destroy the daylight and cover the world in endless night. He also wants to marry a fairy princess who just happens to be Tom’s girlfriend.
2. Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey
In Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey (1989), Bill and Ted are cast down into hell where they are tormented by Satan and made to face their own worst fears.

In the Stephen King mini-series The Stand (1995), the devil is personified as a man named Randall Flagg. In a dream, he turns out to be the demonic entity lurking in a cornfield that people call “He Who Walks Between The Rows”.
5. Tenacious D
In the movie Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny (2006), JB and KG come into possession of a guitar pick made from one of Satan’s teeth. Later, they meet Satan (who is played by Dave Grohl) and he threatens to take them back to hell with him.
6. The Omen (2006)
In the remake of The Omen, a married couple suspect that their adopted son, Damien, is the offspring of the devil. In one scene, the mother is in the bathroom, brushing her teeth, when she catches a frightening glimpse of Satan in the mirror.
7. Horns
In Horns (2013), Daniel Radcliffe has to find the man who murdered his girlfriend. He wakes up one day with horns growing out of his head. They give him supernatural powers and, in the end, transform him into a demonic monster.
8. Doctor Who – The Satan Pit
This episode of Doctor Who features a demonic figure called The Beast who was sealed in a pit in the center of a planet before the universe began and has been trying to escape ever since.

In Tales from the Hood (1995) a bunch of gang-members go to a funeral home to buy some drugs. At the end, the owner of the funeral home transforms into Satan and the funeral home turns out to be hell.
10. Satan’s Little Helper
In Satan’s Little Helper (2004), a 9-year old boy named Dougie is obsessed with a video game where you play Satan’s helper. When he actually meets Satan on his front lawn, the two become friends and on Halloween night, they go on a killing spree together.

In the British horror film, The Devil Rides Out (1968), Christopher Lee rescues some teenagers from a satanic cult. During one of their ceremonies the devil actually appears as a horned beast named “Baphomet”.
12. Rosemary’s Baby
In the classic horror movie Rosemary’s Baby, a young woman named Rosemary is tied to a bed while a group of devil-worshipers summon Satan. In the scene, you never see the devil’s face, just his eyes and his hands.
13. Lisztomania
The film Lisztomania (1975) is about a classical composer, but it contains one scene where the devil attacks and kills a group of naked young women. The devil is depicted as an ugly fat man with a bald head and a hairy back.
14. Angel Heart
In Angel Heart, a private detective is hired by a mysterious man named Louis Cypher. As it turns out, Louis Cypher is actually Lucifer.
15. Childhood’s End
In the SyFy movie Childhood’s End (2015), a peaceful race of aliens, called the Overlords, come to Earth and promise to eliminate poverty, war and sickness. At first, they hide their appearance and when they eventually reveal what they look like, the people of Earth are horrified. The Overlords look like the epitome of the Devil.

Season 1 of the TV show Scream Queens features a serial killer in a Red Devil costume.
17. Star Trek: The Next Generation – Devil’s Due
In the Star Trek: TNG episode “Devil’s Due” (S04E13) a woman named Ardra appears on the Enterprise and demonstrates her powers by transforming into the devil.
18. The Mysterious Stranger
The Adventures of Mark Twain was a claymation movie that had a segment called “The Mysterious Stranger” where Tom Sawyer, Huck Finn and Becky Thatcher meet a figure that is supposed to be Satan. This was a movie intended for children, so a lot of kids who saw it were freaked out.
19. Santa Claus
In the Mexican movie Santa Claus (1959), the devil is called “Pitch” and he comes to Earth to try and convince the children of the world to turn against Santa.
20. K-Mart Ad
In a TV advert for K-Mart, the chairman of a company calls in his evil board members like Satan, Genghis Khan, the “evil doll from my childhood,” the “guy who always takes the last donut” to brainstorm ideas.
21. Robin Thicke – Get Her Back
In the music video for Robin Thicke’s song “Get Her Back”, this scary devil face flashes up on the screen for a split-second.
22. Devil Statue
In 2015, a group called The Satanic Temple erected this 9-feet tall statue of “Baphomet” in Detroit, Michigan. Hundreds of satanists turned out to see it being unveiled.
